Taking my own advice

Generating your own fuel everyday is quite hard work and sometimes it just gets a bit weighty. Today was one of those days, however having lived like this for some time, I’ve got a tool kit for getting myself out of this state and recognising when I need to help myself.

So first I took note of where I was in my emotional cycle and realised that there are times when I should make decisions and times when I shouldn’t – this was not a time to make big decisions, it was a time to pay attention to myself and reflect on some previous decisions and steps.
So that done, clarity is regained, focus has returned and I feel a massive weight lifted and replaced with effervescence – bliss.

So this is the conclusion of the this mornings work:
I started all that I do because I love to make, create and do it with others. Being in the company of minds that are firing off and creating is really stimulating and fun even when silent or even especially when silent as you know that in that silence new ideas are coming into being.

I love to make beautiful things for the sake of joy, adornment and intention. With an artist flare, I thrive on being different and believe we all should seek out that part of us that makes us different, unique and powerful.
The Chapel – the blessing that it is, is still open. I’m there Tuesdays and Wednesdays – today I’m working on adding a little touch to a friends bag, then I’m going to paint a little. Come and join me, make yourself a tea or coffee… –

I’m here till 3pm

Effervescence...

“Effervescence is the escape of gas from an aqueous solution and the foaming or fizzing that results from that release. The word effervescence is derived from the Latin verb fervere, preceded by the adverb ex. It has the same linguistic root as the word fermentation.”

What I love about this meaning is that fact that it drives from fermentation. All these feelings I’ve had in me have been fermenting until the release of the bubbles, fizzing with energy to express joy. Wonderful.
